The Organisation

With an outstanding mix of heritage (formed in 1907) and leading edge products and services in the leisure sector, the Caravan and Motorhome Club is the largest touring club in Europe with superb growth opportunities building on very strong foundations. The club is a membership organisation with a strong commercial ethos driving additional resources to benefit its members, which are reinvested in the business. It employs approximately 1300 staff and has revenues of c.£140m.

The Role

This role is responsible for driving revenue, surplus, and cash generation targets across the entire commercial portfolio of services and products.

Reporting to the CEO, with 4 direct reports and c.50 staff.

Strategic: Define and execute the overall product strategy in alignment with business goals and customer outcomes.

Product Development: Lead the long-term product strategy for all key revenue streams: UK Campsites, Group Accommodation, Overseas Travel Portfolio and Worldwide Tours.

Yield Management
: Implement sophisticated yield management techniques across all products to maximise revenue return.

Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities for new relevant services, markets, and product diversification.

The Candidate

P&L and Commercial Leadership: Proven track record in a senior leadership role with direct responsibility for large-scale P&L management (especially revenue growth) and yield optimisation. Director level experience preferred.

Product Management Expertise: Demonstrable experience in end-to-end product lifecycle management within the leisure, travel, or hospitality sector.

Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Strong strategic, analytical, and organisational skills required to synthesize market intelligence and drive data-led business development decisions.

Transformation Leadership: Experience in leading staff through complex change and transformation projects.

The role will require access to the East Grinstead Head Office for an average of 2 days per week.
